Sherwood is a literature-based reading platform for students from Pre-K through high school (ages 0–16), delivering unlimited access to thousands of professionally narrated audiobooks, ebooks, and word-by-word read-alongs — written by real authors and narrated by real people. Built to support living-books and literature-rich curricula, its parent-vetted library spans picture books to classic literature and reinforces learning across the disciplines, including history, science, biography, and literature. Per-student profiles with content controls and built-in reading reports let parents assign each child's material and track time spent and titles completed, while dyslexia-friendly captions, adjustable and high-contrast text, and audio-assisted read-along (an approach supported by decades of literacy research) accommodate diverse learners, including students with dyslexia or attention challenges. Offline downloads and screen-free playback through any Bluetooth speaker make Sherwood usable on every device, anywhere. Families access Sherwood as a prepaid annual subscription that covers the whole family — a cost-effective, curriculum-aligned instructional resource for building reading fluency, comprehension, and independent learning.
